Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system for a battery module in which a power system and a communication system are insulated without using a photocoupler and signal transmission can be carried out with an AC signal. SOLUTION: The communication system for a battery module has a control circuit 20 including a voltage measuring function of a unit cell for each battery group where a plurality of unit cells are connected in series parallel and a cell balance function for controlling the charging state of the unit cell. Signal transmission direction between respective control circuits 20 is the direction for transmitting a signal to any one of upper or lower control circuit 20 and the transmission signal is an AC signal insulated using a capacitor 1.
