Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head which permits the realization of high-density driving elements and wiring to the driving elements in accordance with densely arranged discharge holes and pressure chambers and realization of stable discharge. SOLUTION: In the liquid discharge head, piezoelectric elements 26 two-dimensionally arranged correspondingly to two-dimensionally arranged nozzles 12 and the pressure chambers 14 are joined the pressure chambers 14 of a piezoelectric element arrangement surface 24A and to an SWIC 23 mounted on an electrical wiring structure 45 to be joined to the opposite side through a vertical conducting member 38 vertically formed from a pad 22 and a horizontal conducting member 46. Consequently, electrical wiring to transmit a driving signal can be densely formed. The electrical wiring structure 45 has a structure in which an insulating structural member 40, an insulating member 42, and a heat dissipating member 44 to be joined to the piezoelectric element arrangement surface 24A are sequentially stacked from below from the piezoelectric element arrangement surface 24A and the SWIC 23 is mounted on the heat dissipating member 44. Thus a temperature variation of inks in the head 100 due to the heating of the SWIC 23 can be restrained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
