Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interphase insulation sheet for a rotary electric machine, capable of preventing breakage during forming a coil end, as well as excellent in permeability for varnish dripped at the coil end. SOLUTION: This interphase insulation sheet 7 is composed of a pair of interphase insulation sheet bodies 7a which is roughly rectangular, and a joint streak portion 7b which is formed integrally with the interphase insulation sheet bodies so as to joint the pair of interphase insulation sheet bodies 7a. In this interphase insulation sheet bodies 7a, a trapezoid notch portion 8 is formed on a side in which the interphase insulation sheet bodies 7a face each other, and a bent portion 9 having a two-stage step is formed in a longitudinal direction (vertical direction in Fig. 1) of the interphase insulation sheet bodies 7a. With this constitution, the interphase insulation sheet bodies 7a can be expanded in the longitudinal direction, thus facilitating impregnating varnish dropped at the coil end 6.
