Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeder for a green compact capable of feeding a plurality of green compacts W spaced from each other onto a conveyor. SOLUTION: The green compact W is supplied onto the mesh belt conveyor 5 of the mesh belt furnace 4. The green compact feeder is equipped with a pusher 31 which pushes a plurality of the green compacts W, W lined up in the transverse direction of the mesh belt conveyor 5 on the carry-in side of the mesh belt conveyor 5 onto the mesh belt conveyor 5 in nearly the horizontal/parallel state with the top surface of the mesh belt conveyor 5, and a driving means 32 for driving the pusher 31. The pusher 31 pushes the plurality of the green compacts W onto the belt conveyor 5 in the state that the green compacts W are held respectively engaged with an engaging section 41, and thereby, the adjacent green compacts W, W are held spaced from each other and are placed in this state on the mesh belt conveyor 5.
