Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small photocatalyst deodorization device having good efficiency, excellent durability and ease of maintenance. SOLUTION: The photocatalyst deodorization device 1-1 has a ventilating passage 2 for contaminated air, a support 3 for a photocatalyst and an excitation light source 4 emitting excitation light for the photocatalyst and deodorizes the contaminated air passing through the passage 2 by photo-exciting the photocatalyst. The support 3 for the photocatalyst is composed of a film or layer of a fiber invulnerable to contaminants and supports the photocatalyst.
