Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery box capable of realizing appropriate contact pressure, lowering a resistance value of a contact point through an ideal short-cut of a coil spring, and prolonging life of a battery as much as possible. SOLUTION: The battery box is structured of a conductive plate material 6 with its either or both terminal contact parts 5a, 5b to be in contact with each terminal 3a, 3b of a battery held by a case body at a position opposed to each terminal, a coil spring 7 so arranged to have a conductive wire rod formed in nearly a conical shape, its tip part made in contact with a terminal of the battery and its bottom part made in contact with a plate face of the plate material, and a conductive inner leaf spring 8 coming in contact with a terminal of the battery with or without an intervention of a tip part of the coil spring when the coil spring is compressed by the terminal of the battery at the inside of the coil spring.
