Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation method capable of predicting performance of a product allowing easy input while securing accuracy of simulation result. SOLUTION: The simulation method can predict performance of the product at the time the product of a viscoelastic material collides with an object to be collided. A product model 10 divided into a plurality of layers and an object model 11 to be collided are set as analysis objects. Thickness of each layer, poisson ratio, elastic modulus and mass density are selected as control factors and a plurality of levels are set. The thickness of layer, the poisson ratio, the elastic modulus and the mass density are set according to the plurality of levels. The elastic modulus and the mass density are selected as error factors and a plurality of levels are set. A collision speed is selected as a signal factor. At least one of the control factors is identified by calculation of each combination of the control factors based on the control factors and an error factor of each level and the signal factor.
