Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always perform an accurate and reliable frictional abrasion test by constant pressure contact force without being affected by difference of a shape or an area of the measuring region of a test piece. SOLUTION: An indentor 1 for the frictional abrasion test is constituted so that the pressure contact surface 73 brought into contact with the test piece under pressure is formed into a curved surface shape curved in a slide direction. The indentor 1 for the frictional abrasion test is formed into an almost columnar shape, and the pressure contact point with the test piece is changed over by changing the attaching position of the indentor 1 for the frictional abrasion test.
