Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a token slotting-detecting device allowed to prevent counterfeit token slotting. SOLUTION: The token slotting-detecting device 1 includes a sensor 3 composed of a pair of a light emitting portion 3a and a light receiving portion 3b, and a sensor 5 composed of a pair of a light emitting portion 5a and a light receiving portion 5b. The light emitting portion is driven by a driving portions 13A and 13B so as to change the output. Light shield-detecting portions 15A and 15B output a signal of light cutting-off or light transmission to a judgement portion 21 by output signals S1A and S1B from the light receiving portions so as to be judged whether the light cutting-off has a predetermined light shield time equivalent to the passage of the token or not. The output signal S1A and an output signal S0A are input to a signal comparison portion 17A and the output signal S1B and an output signal S0B are input to a signal comparison portion 17B to compare their signal waveforms.
