Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a brittle section of an appropriate and uniform shape to an interior material by a simple apparatus and procedures. SOLUTION: The position of a surface 12a of an instrument panel 12 held by an end effector 16a of a robot 16 is measured to determine a surface distance L2. The error on an optical axis C in the position of the surface 12a is determined based on the surface distance L2. The position of the instrument panel 12 is so adjusted as to align the focus f of a laser to a position of a prescribed depth t1 with the surface 12a as a reference based on the error . Microholes 202 of the brittle section 200 are formed by irradiating a rear face 12b of the instrument panel 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
