PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing with a simplified method gruel containing fiber (bean-curd refuse) generally appraised to have high nutriment, and to provide the gruel. SOLUTION: This method for producing the gruel comprises two or more preliminary treatment processes (A) and B of obtaining water absorbing rice 1a and water absorbing soybeans 2a, a grinding process C of grinding the water absorbing soybeans 2a with a grinding means to obtain a secondary soybean raw material 3 containing both soymilk 3a and bean-curd refuse 3b, a boiling process D of mixing the water absorbing rice 1a with the secondary soybean material 3 followed by adding a required amount of water 4 and boiling the product with a heating container for a prescribed time, an atomizing process F of liquidizing or atomizing at least the soymilk 3a and the bean-curd refuse 3b of the gruel raw material 5 obtained in the boiling process D to bring to soybean whole soymilk 8, and a vacuum packaging process I of performing a sterilizing process and vacuum packaging the soybean whole soymilk 8b in a packaging body 9.
