Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmental response type offset rotary printing ink which uses a resin not using a phenol compound of harmful substance and formaldehyde, and a solvent derived from a specific vegetable oil or fat in stead of a petroleum-based solvent, has excellent drying property and onboard stability, and can provide high quality printed products. SOLUTION: This offset rotary printing ink is characterized by containing an ether represented by general formula (1): R1-O-R2 (R1 is a 4 to 14C alkyl or alkenyl; R2 is a 1 to 14C alkyl) as a solvent and a rosin ester resin as a resin component as main components, respectively.
