Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment depressed in an irritative odor, having excellent decolorizing power, and having good storage stability of a first agent. SOLUTION: This hair treatment is used by mixing the first agent and a second agent containing hydrogen peroxide, wherein the first agent comprises an emulsion containing a component (A) comprising ammonia and/or an alkanolamine in an amount of 0.1-10 mass% based on a total amount of the first agent, a component (B) a carbonate salt and/or a hydrogencarbonate in an amount of 3-10 mass% based on the total amount of the first agent, a component (C) comprising a 12-18C alcohol, a component (D) comprising a 20-30C alcohol, a component (E) comprising a nonionic surfactant in an amount of 1-5 mass% based on the total amount of the first agent, and a component (F) comprising water and satisfies conditions (i) to (iii) as follows: (i) a total content of the component (C) and the component (D) is 5-20 mass% based on the total amount of the first agent; (ii) a mass ratio of [the component (C)/the component (D)] is 4-40: and (iii) a mass ratio of [(the component (C) + the component (D))/the component (B)] is 1-4.
