PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum degreasing and washing apparatus which has two on-off doors to enable the feed-in/feed-out of a work from both of the on-off doors, can be reduced in its scale and saved in its installation space, can construct a system simple from a space/cost aspect, prevents the scattering of solvent vapor into the atmosphere at the time of feed-in/feed-out of the work even in the case of the large work and uses a hydrocarbon washing agent. SOLUTION: The main body 10 of the vacuum degreasing and washing apparatus has the hermetically closed washing chamber 1 having the on-off doors 3 and 3 provided to both ends thereof and the hollow cleaning liquid tank 4 which surrounds the washing chamber 1, and the work 14 can be fed in/fed out of the washing chamber 1 from both of the on-off doors 3 and 3. Shower washing, immersion washing, high temperature jet washing and vacuum drying can be performed in the same washing chamber 1. Exhaust hoods 25 and 27 for sucking the vapor of the washing agent 17 are provided to the upper parts of the on-off doors 3 of both ends of the washing chamber 1 and vapor sucking devices 28 being exhaust pumps are connected to the upper ends of the exhaust hoods 25 and 27 through pipes 29.
