Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber bearing device which is not damaged in contact with a side block in a normal condition and whose manufacturing cost is suppressed. SOLUTION: The rubber bearing device comprises a laminated rubber body 11 incorporating a plurality of reinforcing plates in parallel to each other, a lower shoe 12 fixed to the lower face of the laminated rubber body 11 and mounted on a substructure A, and an upper shoe 13 fixed to the upper face of the laminated rubber body 11 and mounted on a superstructure B. One reinforcing plate located in the middle of the laminated rubber body 11 is a thick reinforcing plate 20 which is thicker than the other reinforcing plates. At center positions on the opposed end faces of the thick reinforcing plate 20, bulged portions (metal square bars 22) are provided, respectively, each of which has a length smaller than the width of the reinforcing plate. The outer end face of the bulged portion is flush with the outer face of the laminated rubber body 11. The side block 25 is protruded from either one of the lower shoe 12 or the upper shoe 13 to a position opposed to the outer end face of the bulged portion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
