Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission chain capable of preventing reduction in transmission efficiency by restraining a slide of a pin end surface, by enhancing contact bearing pressure of the pin end surface and a sheave surface, while improving abrasion resistance of the pin end surface slidingly contacting with the sheave surface of a pulley. SOLUTION: This power transmission chain C has a plurality of links 1 and a plurality of pins 2 for mutually connecting the plurality of these links 1; and is used by being extended between a first pulley 10 having conical surface-shaped sheave surfaces 13a and 14a and a second pulley 11 having conical surface-shaped sheave surfaces 16a and 17a; and slidingly contacts between an end surface of the pins 2 and the sheave surfaces 13a, 14a, 16a and 17a of the first and second pulleys 10 and 11. A fine continuous groove 4 for enhancing bearing pressure between the end surface 2a and the sheave surfaces 13a, 14a, 16a and 17a of the first and second pulleys 10 and 11, is formed on the end surface 2a of the pins 2.
