PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for viscous food capable of smoothly extracting the viscous food by keeping the container storing the viscous food upside down, preventing ingress of impurities into a container body, and extruding the whole residual food outside even when the food is partly remained in the container body. SOLUTION: The container for viscous food comprises a container body 2 to store the viscous food S such as mayonnaise and ketchup, and a stand 3 detachably fitted to the container body 2. The container body comprises a bag body 5 to store food, a food extraction part 4 integrally and continuously provided on the center of a tip of the bag body, and a seal piece 6 which is suspended similarly from the bag body and arranged outside the food extraction unit. The stand comprises an inverted cup-shaped holder 7, a cap 8 which is formed in the center of the holder and detachably coupled with the food extraction unit, and an annular rib 9 formed on the center of the holder 7 and erected above the cap. The food extraction unit is downwardly inverted while attaching the container body to the stand via the cap, and the seal piece 9 is abutted on the outer circumference of the annular rib 9.
