Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring brake actuator which prevents damage to a diaphragm 41 when the diaphragm 41, an output rod 42, and a piston 43 are attached to the brake actuator, and facilitates work. SOLUTION: The spring brake actuator comprises a body having an inner space, the diaphragm 41 which partitions the inner space into an air chamber A and a pressure chamber B and drives an output rod 42, and a piston 43 which pushes the diaphragm 41 toward the pressure chamber B. The piston 43 has a connecting recession 43a. A connecting member 65 is interposed between the diaphragm 41 and the piston 43, and is provided with a plurality of elastic pieces 65b arranged around the periphery of the connecting member 65. The elastic pieces 65b are forced to be in contact with the inner wall of the connecting recession 43a by an elastic force. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
