Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk loading roll in which remarkable torque reduction is not caused even if it is used for a long period with dust being stuck. SOLUTION: The disk loading roll consists of rubber elastic body which has an external peripheral surface in which an outside diameter is varied over an axis direction, and formed by a metallic mold, and loads the disk by being abutted on a peripheral edge part of a disk. The external peripheral surface of the roll is a rugged surface formed by the metallic mold, wherein average value of average surface roughness Rz of ten points of the rugged surface is 4-15 μm, an average value of the maximum height Ry of the surface is 4-18 μm, apparent surface area if surface-area/roll-surface is a mirror surface is >1.9.
