PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus capable of recognizing a property of content data favorably. SOLUTION: A music reproducing system 100 is provided with a property recognizing means recognizing music tone of music data recorded in a music data storing means 330 and recognizing a part of the music data based on this music tone, and a music relating information generating means generating part information by relating music tone point information and music tone information about music tone in the part of the music data with part specific information specifying a position of the part. Thereby, the music data having various music tone are divided into a plurality of parts and music tone can be recognized for each part. Therefore, since a music reproducing apparatus 300 can recognize music tone of the music data favorably, for example, it can be prevented that a part being different from music tone imaged by a user is included in music data which is reproduced by specifying music tone desired by the user.
