Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the consistency of the duplication even for data written in a storage system by a computer which does not apply a write time to write data in a system in which data to be used by a computer are stored in a storage system, and the data are transferred by the storage system to another storage system, and the other storage system stores the duplicate of the data. SOLUTION: When a write time is applied to a write request, a main storage system records a write time, and applies the write time to received write data, and when any write time is not applied, the main storage system applies the recorded write time to the received write data, and transfers the write data with the write time to another storage system. A sub-storage system stores the write data to a logical volume within the sub-storage system based on the write time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
