Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower travel device facilitating access to the inside of a cover while positively protecting a travel motor by the cover. SOLUTION: A cover body 65 provided at a travel frame 12 is provided with a hole part 76 for maintenance, and a reinforcing cover 67 for opening/closing the hole part 76 is detachably provided at the cover body 65. Even when an upward thrust of a rock or the like occurs during the operation of a hydraulic shovel in a stone crushing site or the like, load to the cover body 65 is dispersed by the deformation of the reinforcing cover 67 to prevent the deformation of the cover body 65 to protect it. The travel motor 18 covered with the cover 38 can thereby be positively protected. A relief valve 55 can be easily accessed via the hole part 76 by removing the reinforcing cover 67 from the cover body 65, and maintenance and inspection are facilitated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
