Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion protection method by forging, in an aluminum material subjected to the corrosion protection by forging, which can remarkably reduce the cost by a simple process, can be applied even to members exposed to severer corrosive conditions, further, realizes remarkably high corrosion resistance and the thinning of the material, and can obtain high strength as well. SOLUTION: At the time when spherical zircon beads with the average particle diameter of 300 μm are used as shot particles, and shot peening is performed in such a manner that the velocity of the shot particle is controlled to ≥40 m/s, forging effect can be obtained in the surface of an aluminum sheet, so as to improve its strength. In the case the aluminum sheet is spray-coated with a mixed coating material of a silica sol, block isocyanate and an acrylic resin, and is heated and cured at 170°C. Regarding the obtained sample, at the time when testing has been performed about hardness, adhesion, water resistance, alkali discoloration resistance, acid discoloration resistance, water discoloration resistance, gasoline resistance, a salt water spray test, a CASS (copper-accelerated acetic acid salt spray) test, a composite cycle test, accelerated weather resistance and weather resistance, it has been found that the sample satisfies all of the standards, and has extremely excellent corrosion resistance.
