Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetarium system having a function capable of turning attention to a specific heavenly body without giving spectators a feeling of displeasure. SOLUTION: The planetarium system has an operation part such as a touch panel, by which a normal display mode and a highlight mode can be selected. In addition, by the operation part, a heavenly body to be highlighted can be selected. Specifically, (A) indicates a display example of the normal display mode and (B) indicates a display example of the highlight mode, respectively. In the display examples, display radius of an astronomical image is different in the normal display mode (A) and the highlight mode (B) about a predetermined astronomical image. Namely, an astronomical image with the display radius larger than in the normal display mode (A) is displayed in the highlight mode (B). For example, the astronomical image with display radius of 1.5 times in the normal display mode is displayed in the highlight mode. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
