PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus for processing signals of the high number of pixels at a high speed. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 10 includes: an image signal generating unit 11; a timing generator 12; a sample-hold circuit 50; and first and second output sections 13, 14. The image signal generating unit 11 is connected to the first and second output sections 13, 14 which are connected in parallel. The sample-hold circuit 50 is located between the image signal generating unit 11 and the second output section 14. The image signal generating unit 11 outputs an object image signal equivalent to an object image and a black color image signal equivalent to a black color. The sample-hold circuit 50 receives a first sample-hold signal outputted from the timing generator 12 and samples and holds the black color image signal. The first output section 13 outputs the object image signal and the black color image signal. The second output section 14 outputs the black color image signal held in the sample-hold circuit 50.
