Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contactless data receiver/transmitter that reduces an increase in the thickness of the contactless data receiver/transmitter and operatively induces an electromotive force much higher than the operating electromotive force of an IC chip even when in contact with an article including at least metal. SOLUTION: The contactless data receiver/transmitter 10 comprises: an inlet 14 comprising a base material 11, and an antenna 12 and an IC chip 13 interconnected on one surface thereof; and a magnetic substance layer 15 disposed over the antenna 12 and/or IC chip 13 forming the inlet 14. The principal component of the magnetic substance layer 15 is a resin including a filler of magnetic particulates. The magnetic particulates have a mean grain size of 3 μm to 200 μm.
