Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight module keeping a standardized brightness without increasing the whole module thickness. SOLUTION: The pan type lens 21 includes a light-transmitting surface 211, a light-reflecting surface 212, two smooth curvature surfaces 213, and a light-scattering surface 214. The light-transmitting surface 211 forms a concave bottom surface of the pan type lens 21. The light-reflecting surface 212 with virtually concave cross-section forms a top surface of the pan type lens 21. Smooth curvature surfaces 213 are translucent, which connect the light-reflecting surface 212 and the light-transmitting surface 211 with its position inclined, forming both sides of the pan type lens. The light-scattering surface 214 with a convex cross-section is located on a medial axis of the light-reflecting surface 212. The light-reflecting surface 212 includes a space 217 and a flat surface 218.
