PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the stability of spinning and prevent occurrence of defected fibers and fiber breakage in manufacturing a hollow fiber membrane by a wet or a dry-and-wet method employing a liquid injection method. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method based on spinning hollow fibers through a wet or a dry-and-wet method by injecting a hollow part forming fluid into a center inner tube with a double-tube type spinneret for spinning of the hollow fiber, a gas of a solubility higher than that of air is caused to flow through a liquid passage to replace air with the gas of a higher solubility in order to improve the stability of spinning and prevent occurrence of defective fibers and fiber breakage.
