Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric golf cart capable of preventing the risk of deteriorating a battery or disenabling running even in a generator driving stop area. SOLUTION: The electric golf cart includes a running motor to be driven with the battery as a power source; and a generator to be driven by an engine for charging the battery. Then the driving of the generator is stopped when the cart enters the predetermined generator driving stop area. The cart comprises a voltage detecting means for detecting the voltage of the battery; and a control means for stopping the driving of the generator when the cart enters the generator driving stop area and forcibly driving the generator when a battery voltage to be detected by the voltage detecting means becomes less than prescribed potential.
