Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plane type magnetic inductor and its manufacturing method, wherein it is possible to embody a superior high frequency characteristics and a high inductance, and to reduce a defective rate of an element. SOLUTION: The plane type magnetic inductor contains an insulating oxide magnetic layer formed on a substrate, a conductor coil which is isolated from the bottom surface of the insulating oxide magnetic layer and is completely embedded in the insulating oxide magnetic layer, and a cover layer formed on the insulating oxide magnetic layer for protecting the insulating magnetic layer.
