Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for managing client/server session through which a client requests contents from a content server by using a browser. SOLUTION: The content relating to the session is received together with session termination URL from the content server by the browser, and the content and session termination URL are transferred to the portal page which the browser received from the portal server. Request to the new session is sent from the browser to the portal server, and the request includes the session termination URL, which is sent to the content server to terminate the session by the portal server.
