Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device using a PCI Express as a transfer interface. SOLUTION: The storage device 1 comprises a micro controller 12. The micro controller 12 is connected to a flash memory 13 and a PCI Express connection interface 11. The micro controller 12 has a flash memory interface 121 and a PCI Express interface 122. When the storage device 1 is connected via the PCI Express connection interface 11 to the PCI Express 21 installed on a host 2, the host 2 reads/writes data from the storage device 1 and transfers the data at the maximum transfer speed which the PCI Express can provide.
