Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge cell for an ozone generator which makes the drastic reduction in size of the generator possible without being accompanied by the degradation in performance by eliminating the factors to obstruct the miniaturization to be of particularly significant problem in a module lamination type where modules are laminated in a thickness direction due to supply or discharge of a refrigerant to or from coolers. SOLUTION: A dielectric unit 30 is arranged between a pair of first upper and lower electrodes 10 and 10 used also as coolers in such a manner that discharge gaps 50 are formed between the first electrodes. Rigid body spacers 50 are arranged to exist alongside the dielectric unit 30. The discharge cell is formed by such unit as one module in a thickness direction. Assembly conduits 11, 21 and 11 for refrigerant supply commonly used between the respective coolers and assembly conduits 12, 21 and 12 for refrigerant discharge are formed in the lamination portions of the rigid body spacers 50 and the first electrodes 10, 10. The assembly conduits 13, 23 and 13 for gaseous ozone commonly used between the respective modules are integrally formed in the module lamination direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
