Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the discharge amount from a functional liquid droplet discharging head, or the like by which the amount of a functional liquid to be discharged from a group of nozzles, which are to be measured, per the unit shot number can be measured correctly by weight in a short time. SOLUTION: A functional liquid droplet is discharged from effective nozzles 65a of n pieces by a plurality of shots until the discharged functional liquid droplet reaches the weight measurable by a weight measuring means 91 and the discharged amount of the functional liquid over the plurality of shots is measured by weight. The functional liquid droplet is discharged from the nozzles of (n-m) pieces to be not measured being the effective nozzles other than the nozzles 65c of m pieces to be measured by a plurality of shots until the discharged functional liquid droplet reaches the weight measurable by the weight measuring means 91 and the discharged amount of the functional liquid over the plurality of shots is measured by weight. The amount of the functional liquid to be discharged from the group 66 of the nozzles, which are to be measured, per the unit shot number is calculated on the basis of a difference between the measured weight of the amount of both functional liquid to be discharged.
