PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable with water travel prevented by a plurality of water travel preventing tapes getting swollen to stop water if any infiltrating an inclusion matter, in case both-side tip parts of water-absorbent tapes at an outer layer of the cable or a part of the cable in a length direction is broken by some flaw. SOLUTION: In the cable 1 made by winding a press-winding tape 11 around twisted insulation wire cores 7 with a constant length through an inclusion matter 9 and covering an outer jacket at an outer periphery of the press-winding tape 11, the inclusion matter is constituted of a plurality of water travel preventing tapes 15.
