Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant melamine-based molding material in order to solve a recent problem in which dishes made of a melamine-based molding material are discolored by repeated sudden heating at high temperature, in a system, so-called re-heating cart system, feeding warm foods by reheating treatment in hospitals. SOLUTION: The composition for molding melamine-based resin is obtained by formulating 100 pts.wt. melamine-based resin with 10-50 pts.wt. non-wood fiber having ≤5 color difference (ΔE) in a heat-resistant test of 130°C×24 hr or formulating 100 pts.wt. melamine-based resin with 10-50 pts.wt. mixture of a pulp having ≤5 color difference (ΔE) in a heat-resistant test of 130°C×24 hr with a pulp having 6-12 color difference (ΔE) in a heat-resistant test of 130°C×24 hr.
