Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner for effectively reducing the operation sound of an electric blower, which is emitted to the outer part of a main body housing, without blocking the flow of discharge air and providing a quiet operation without deteriorating dust suction performance. SOLUTION: The discharge air from the electric blower 2 which is supported inside the main body housing 1 is discharged to the outer part through discharge holes 17, 17... opened on the peripheral wall of the main body housing 1 in the vacuum cleaner. A sound insulation cylinder 3 is fitted to the outer periphery of a fan cover 20 in the electric blower 2. The outlet of the discharge air arranged in the fan cover 20 and the outer side of an electric motor 21 for driving are blocked from the discharge holes 17, 17, ..., so as to prevent the arrival of the operation sound to the discharge holes 17, 17..., which is emitted from the outlet and the electric motor 21. Thus, the sound emission to the outer part of the main body housing 1 is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
