Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine output control device which offers a cooperative control for preventing stall or sudden acceleration in shifting. SOLUTION: The device equipped with a driver demand control means 23a for controlling engine output of a vehicle in accordance with the acceleration/deceleration demand of a driver, a cruise control means 22b for controlling engine output in accordance with a demand of larger one out of either the acceleration/deceleration demand or the cruising control demand, a speed control means 21a for shifting gears of a transmission in accordance with vehicle speed and controlling engine output, and a switching control means 23b for switching the driver demand control means 23a, the cruise control means 22b and the speed control means 21a in accordance with priority. The speed control means 21a returns engine output on the basis of the cruise control means 22b before the switching when being switched to the cruise control means 22b by the switching control means 23b after completion of shifting gears.
