Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire improving the performance of drainage, dry grip, and wear. SOLUTION: A tread 2 is equipped with a pair of circumferential grooves 3 which continuously extend in the circumferential direction on both sides of a tire equator C, and inclined grooves 4 including a steeply inclined part 4a which is separately provided in the circumferential direction, and extends to the outside in the axial direction inclining by 5 to 45 degree in the circumferential direction from the vicinity of the circumferential groove 3. A land part surrounded by the outer groove wall surface at the outside in the tire axial direction of the circumferential groove 3 and the groove wall surface of the steeply inclined part 4a is formed thereby. The outer groove wall surface comprises a gently inclined wall which extends to the inward radial direction from an intersection line 6L1 with a tread surface 2 inclining to the inner side of the tire axial direction, and a steeply inclined wall at the groove bottom side continued to an inward end in the radial direction of the gently inclined wall. The inward end is made to be a wave form where the distance in the axial direction to the intersection line 611 repeats the increase and decrease in the tire circumferential direction, and the most inner point of the inward end having the maximum distance in the axial direction is positioned at the acute angled corner part side sandwiched with the intersection line of the circumferential groove 3 and the steeply inclined part.
