Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter medium high in durability, which assures an air permeability to a liquid containing an oil content or surfactant, an acidic or alkaline liquid, an organic solvent, or hot water and a liquid low in surface tension, and a liquid bottle provided with the filter medium, and satisfying the air permeability and a leakage prevention of the liquid. SOLUTION: The filter medium comprises a porous ceramic 2, is constituted so as to enable the holding of the liquid 4 entering from a pore 3 in a surface 1a of one side inside, and at the same time, has a constitution that a gas 5 entering from the pore 3 in the surface 1a of the one side is aerated from a surface 1b in the other side.
