Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce distortion in a heat exchanger core tube by partitioning a common header in a combination-type heat exchanger. SOLUTION: A plurality of fluid heat exchangers and a method of manufacturing the heat exchangers are provided. A cut-out part 64 is disposed at a position between first and second cores 60 and 62 of the heat exchanger between a set of baffles 26 and 28 in a slender header 12 of the heat exchanger 10. For coping with relative heat growth of the first and second cores, at least over half part of a cross section region of the slender header 12 is removed by the cut-out part 64.
