Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber paper for a thermosensitive stencil printing base paper, which sticks little to a dryer at paperizing and has enough strength at the laminating work with a thermoplastic resin film and is made of 100% polyester fiber with little void. SOLUTION: This polyester fiber paper for the thermosensitive stencil printing base paper consisting of short stretched polyester fibers A having a monofilament fineness of 0.01-0.6 decitex, short polyethylene terephthalate base unstretched polyester fibers B, which have a monofilament fineness of 0.5-1.5 decitex and, in addition, is copolymerized with 2-6 mol% of 5-sodium sulfoisophthalic acid having a birefringence of 0.005-0.02, and short polyester base binder fibers C, which have a monofilament fineness of 0.2-2 decitex and a sheet areal shrinking percentage of 5-30%, can solve the problem.
