Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass article storing foldable container suitable for storing glass articles, which facilitates work of discharging a small quantity of glass articles or the like to be used for a variety of applications in a small quantity and allows use of a container having a conventional outer shape for conveyance and transportation configuration. SOLUTION: The glass article storing foldable container 10 has a storing section 12 for storing the articles, a charging opening 11 for charging the articles into the storage section 12, and a discharging opening 20 for discharging the articles from the storage section 12. The discharging opening 20 is defined in a side face of the storage section 12. In a glass article conveying method using the glass article storing foldable container 10, the lower part of the side face opposite to the side face having the opening 20 of the storage section 12 is moved upward to discharge the glass article from the storage section 12.
