PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular parking brake device in which an electric brake drive means is controlled by a control unit as one automatic release condition of automatically releasing the braked state of the parking exclusive brake that the permission and the prohibition of the automatic operation of the electric brake drive means to drive the parking exclusive brake while changing the brake operation and the brake release is changed by the automatic operation permission selection means and the accelerator operation not less than the predetermined value is performed in a state of selecting the permission of the automatic operation so that the parking brake state is not released even when a driver mistakenly performs the accelerator operation in a napping state. SOLUTION: A control unit prohibits the operation of an electric brake drive means to the side of automatically releasing the braked state of a parking exclusive brake when the angle of backward inclination of a driver's seat is not less than the reference angle even if the automatic releasing condition is established.
