Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil for an internal combustion engine which can increase strength of structure without preparing a terminal for grounding separately. SOLUTION: The ignition coil for an internal combustion engine comprises a primary coil and a secondary coil, an iron core for coupling them magnetically, and an insulated case which houses completely them without exposing a part of them to the outside. Since the conductive bush is arranged as extended from an attachment flange to a primary socket in the insulated case, it is unnecessary to prepare the terminal for grounding separately, it is made possible to reduce number of components, and earthquake-proof improvement can be attained by increasing the strength of structure.
