Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when the entire body of an air-bag type roof gate is deeply submerged in water under a condition where little water level difference is maintained between upstream and downstream sides and only low air pressure is kept in the air bag, an inner surface of an upper rubber-covered cloth of the air bag makes contact with a surface of a mouth piece to prevent internal air from being discharged, resulting in drastic delay of a rising/falling speed of the gate. SOLUTION: There is provided a new air-bag type roof gate which has band-shaped projections formed on an inner surface of the air bag over an area from a location in the vicinity of the mouth piece to a location reaching the vicinity of a closed side of the air bag, opposed to an open side of the same, in a direction almost orthogonal to the open side, to thereby secure a passage of air.
