Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening method via moss ensuring rooting of moss to make greened scenery excellent in appearance: and to provide a moss community sheet. SOLUTION: The greening method via moss comprises culturing moss 1 on a sheet 2 having a prescribed size to form a moss community sheet 3, and sticking the moss community sheet 3 on a land surface of a park, a green belt of the road, a rooftop surface for rooftop greening. A coconut husk mat forming the sheet 2 is obtained through pressing a lot of fibers 5 of coconut husks and/or seeds to be formed into a nonwoven fabric plate state. The mat holds the moss 1 for relatively long period of time till the moss 1 takes root so as to prevent outflow of the moss 1, and returns to the soil after several years go by, specifically about 5 years go by after being set because the coconut husk mat comprises slightly acidic natural material.
