Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a record of high-resolution image data at a high speed with a recorder using an inkjet head. SOLUTION: The recorder is equipped with a detection means for detecting the position of a recording head, a first storage means for preserving recording data, a second storage means for reading data from the first storage means and for preserving the data for two or more columns and a formation means for reading data from the second storage means according to signals outputted from the detection means and for forming the drive signal of the recording head.
