Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible recording medium which has a sharp image contrast, and excellent stable repeatability and image stability. SOLUTION: This reversible recording medium is composed of a support and a recording layer formed on at least one surface of the support, and the recording layer contains a microcapsule encapsulating a mixture of particles divided to regions of different surface colors and a dispersion medium of a solid state at a room temperature. Further, the particles in a part where the dispersion medium is fused, are rotated by applying heat or a magnetic field. Thus it is possible to repeatedly write and erase an image.
