Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduced iron charging device capable of putting reduced iron to a melting furnace in small portions, preventing temperature drop or oxidation even in application to high-temperature reduced iron, and preventing inclination of a skip conveyor even in use of a curved rail having a curved portion as a traveling rail. SOLUTION: The reduced iron charging device for charging high-temperature reduced iron produced in a rotary hearth furnace 1 to the melting furnace 4 comprises the skip conveyor 2 receiving reduced iron from the rotary hearth furnace and pulled by a wire on the traveling rial 3. The skip conveyor includes a lining consisting of a refractory material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
